When you visit our Fresno dental office, your smile is our top priority. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with the personalized, and gentle care, that you deserve. Part of our commitment to serving our patients includes providing information that helps them to make more informed decisions about their oral health needs. This website is a resource we hope you will find both useful and interesting.

Dr. Lambetecchio received her credentials at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. In 2000, she served as the first woman president of the Fresno-Madera Dental Society. She is also a member of the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association, is on the Board of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, and is an Instructor for the Northern California Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry.

In a profession dominated by men, Dr. Lambetecchio is uniquely endowed with gentleness appealing to children and adults. She offers composite (tooth-colored) bonding versus amalgam or stainless steel crowns for decayed or cracked teeth. Dental sealants are a benefit in the absence of decay in the children's permanent molars. These sealants help protect the teeth from developing decay if proper dental habits are maintained.

Dr. Lambetecchio was also the first dentist in the Fresno-Madera area to utilize the Waterlase Dental Laser. With the use of the Hydrokinetic process, the Waterlase can remove decay with no heat and no pain, thus eliminating the need for any anesthetic. This ultimately results in a more pleasant and incredible dental experience.

If you are looking for whiter, younger-looking teeth, Dr. Lambetecchio also offers in-office "Whitening" and "Take-Home Whitening Kits" for that bright smile that you are looking for.

Dr. Lambetecchio wishes to deliver the very best smile that will enhance and change your life. Smile makeovers can enhance your job prospects, personal connections, and overall better health. Studies have shown a direct link to various health-related issues due to poor oral hygiene. You may find these study examples on our website.
With your personalized appointment reservation, we do not double book, therefore we ask that you call 48 hours in advance before changing your appointment time.

You will be shown all the steps to enhance your dental appearance and overall health. We deeply care about you and want you to achieve the very best quality of life.

Your smile communicates a lot about how you feel about yourself. Even a minor flaw in your smile can keep you from feeling your best about the way you look. A beautiful smile can be the pathway to opportunity.

Cosmetic dentistry is a blending of art and science. We focus on aesthetic results by using a variety of the latest restorative techniques and materials. We can enhance your smile to give it a more pleasing appearance.

Here are some of the conditions that may be helped by cosmetic dentistry —

  • Diastemas (spaces between the teeth)
  • Permanently stained or discolored teeth
  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Crooked or poorly shaped teeth
  • Unsightly, stained, or washed-out fillings
  • Missing teeth

To address these conditions, any or all of the following cosmetic techniques may be used.

Veneers

A porcelain veneer is indicated when a portion of the front surface of the tooth needs a "facelift." Similar to composite bonding, veneers are attached directly to the existing tooth structure. Veneers adhere to the tooth surface by bonding techniques used.

Veneers can cover stains, close spaces between teeth, and straighten teeth.

Composite Bonding

A composite resin filling may be used when only a small amount of tooth structure needs replacement. White composite bondings adhere to the tooth and are a conservative, versatile, and affordable way to aesthetically restore a multitude of cosmetic problems.

To begin a bonding procedure, we treat the tooth with a special enamel conditioner to roughen the enamel surface and allow the bonding material to adhere. A composite resin is then applied and shaped to match the contour of your natural tooth. The surface of the composite is then shaped and polished to achieve a natural luster and appearance.

Tooth Whitening

Because of a variety of causes, teeth tend to stain "yellow" over time. We can help you whiten and brighten graying or yellowed teeth.

We examine your mouth and recommend the best treatment for your specific needs, either an in-office treatment or a take-home treatment, which we monitor to make sure you obtain the best results. Teeth whitening is not permanent.  A touch-up may be needed and more often if you smoke, or drink coffee, tea, or wine.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Many patients prefer restorations done using tooth-colored composites or porcelain. The use of a tooth-colored filling material can be used on a new tooth with decay or on a tooth that has an older restoration that may need replacing. Bonding techniques are used for these procedures.

Crowns and Bridges

When a substantial amount of tooth structure has been lost, when a tooth is cracked or broken, or when a tooth has had a root canal, then a full crown or "cap" is usually indicated because there is no longer sufficient tooth structure to hold just a filling.

A bridge spans a space where one or more teeth have been lost in the dental arch. We replace the missing teeth, which are anchored by crowns with existing healthy tooth structures.

Dental Implants

We call them "bionic teeth." It can be embarrassing to have spaces in your mouth when teeth are missing. You are not alone. Some people lose teeth because of injury, tooth decay, or periodontal disease (infection of the gums and the bone surrounding the teeth). Others may not have had all their teeth grow in.

Whatever the reason, dental implants can help replace missing teeth. And implants often feel more natural than dentures and all other dental restorations.

Whatever the dental treatment may be, keeping all your dental appointments, taking good care of your teeth, watching sweets in your diet (including no sodas), committing to a lifetime of good oral hygiene, having dental checkups as prescribed by your dentist, and contacting team members if you have any problems can all ensure good results and success.

Whether your dental needs are a complete exam and cleaning, a full-mouth restoration with cosmetic dental treatment, or anything in between, we promise to provide you with exceptional care as we enhance the natural beauty of your smile.

On behalf of all my staff, I welcome you to our office. We appreciate your decision to allow us to provide you with the necessary quality dentistry that you deserve. We want you to know that we are committed to providing you with the highest quality oral health care in the most gentle, efficient, and enthusiastic manner possible. Since we are a boutique practice, we can give you our complete attention on each personalized dental reservation.

During your first visit, a thorough examination will be completed. This exam will include necessary X-rays, as well as the use of other aids such as the intra-oral camera, which may be necessary to make an accurate diagnosis of the condition of your mouth, teeth, and gums. In most instances, we will determine your dental needs, and then discuss with you the suggested treatment.

Cosmetic Dentistry is a blend of art and science. We custom-design your smile with the use of the latest techniques and materials.

The following can be traded for a beautiful smile:

  • Crooked or poorly shaped teeth

  • Broken, chipped, or missing teeth

  • Diastemas (spaces between the teeth).

  • Stained or discolored teeth.

A video camera is utilized during examinations so that the children and adults can see what the doctor sees when examining the patient. Dr. Lambetecchio will use this inter-oral camera to fully explain your treatment options. Still, pictures can also be taken from this camera to be utilized for "before" and "after" photos and also for "smile design" exams and procedures.
